500 words per minute was great for me. You?
I saw Chuck Martin (who is a must-follow in mobile) post this question on Twitter yesterday:
Mobile question dept: What are your favorite and/or offbeat #mobile apps?— chuck martin (@chuckmartin1) June 18, 2012
With all the great apps out there, I thought I’d blow past 140 characters and give you guys a list of the apps I use every day. FYI - I’m an Android guy. I just pre-ordered the Samsung Galaxy S3. So, will you leave the best iPhone-only apps below? Thanks.
All links to the Google Play Market. Here are four for part one - part two coming later this week.
I much prefer Handcent over the stock messaging app. Customization, pop up notifications - if you want it from your texting app, you can probably do it with this.
Doesn’t have great reviews in the market, but I enjoy GoToMeeting mobile. Great some calling in to meetings, being able to see shared screens. You can’t present from the mobile app (yet), but otherwise, good to have if you use GTM.
My favorite podcast players. It’s a couple bucks, but the playback options are great, auto-downloads, variable speed playback, great updating. Worth the spend to me.
I wasn’t the biggest fan of the TweetDeck updates after its purchase by Twitter, but it’s still my preferred way to staying up to date. If you’re a heavy Twitter list user like I am, TweetDeck is still tough to beat. Great visible content in-app improvements as well.
That’s it for part one. Part two (and four more killer apps) coming soon. So, what do you use?
